BattleLab vs. Blackhawk, Escape & Evasion Bags

Mon Nov 10 2008
Here are two Escape & Evasion Bags side by side to compare and contrast. The BattleLab bag in tan seems to be made of better material and looks like it will last longer with heavy use. The Blackhawk version is a bit less sturdy and seems to be sewn together with less skill. Little things like the strap being shorter, lack of full velcro strips on pocket flaps, thickness of materials used all make the Blackhawk bag (in black) less value and less durable with heavy use

LOL, why do you think we don't know what bags we own?

I suppose you think the Eagle Industries logo was your 'clue' so you made your remark..

too bad you didn't read the article, or you might have learned the green Eagle logo is an Eagle Industries Duty Evidence Pouch (DEP) on the strap

too the users who responded that the tan (actually coyote brown) bag was eagle industries, you are incorrect, and yes the person who posted this is correct. if you look closely the coyote brown/tan bag show is indeed a battlelab escape and evasion bag with an olive or ranger green eagle industries pouch slapped on strap, the other black bag is a blackhawk industries bag that is comparable to the battlelab e&e. you can verify this by searching escape and evasion bag at diamondbacktactical.com.

the tan one is an eagle industries e&e bag not a battlelab. battlelab is made by diamondback tactical. you might want to do your homework before you try to sound all cool.

Ive been doing a lot of research on Blackhawk. I really love their products, but it seems they are making a lot of outsource to other countries, and they products seem to be slipping.
